says

"The work is seasonal so do not expect to make a career out of this job. The work enviorment is soul crushing because of the mindless repetition."

Former Employee - Order Processing Specialist says

"Do not care about their employees, very unprofessional."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Nasty managers and too much drama, back-stabbing, internal politics."

Former Employee - says

"There are no overall company values communicated or team spirit felt across the departments (individual teams are strong but not as a company). No activities beyond occassional lunches or business contests. There should be 360 reviews and the company should look at the track records of the executive team's people skills. Not good at promoting from within."

Former Employee - Sales Representative says

"pay is full commission, you pay for everything with the job, some regionals are good & others are bad"

Former Employee - OUTSIDE SALES says

"Every single year sales reps get burned by late jersey orders. The company outsources much of the cloth and more and more reconditioning as well. This causes them to have little control and nobody tells the reps where their orders are. This makes you look like an idiot to your customer and you lose business you have to work years to get back. I also never bought into the propaganda they feed a sales force about the concussion protection their helmets provide. They have good products but they love manipulating testing to produce a favorable impression of their product and parading it around."

Line Leader (Current Employee) says

"This place has no leadership and no management. The employees do whatever they want when they want. I would recommend anyone to work here. This job is for kids right out of highschool"

Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says

"Place is awful, can not stress enough to leave as soon as possible. Manager claimed "did not want to micro manage", that was all he did. Packer (Former Employee) says

"You'll be working every Saturday, and a full day too, at 8 - 10 hours. The pay sucks but you'll get 60+ hours a week. Lots of arbitrary rules that they will fire you for breaking despite work ethic and productivity. Lay off everyone from September to November.Lots of overtimeTotalitarian enforcement of arbitrary rules"

Painter/Laborer (Former Employee) says

"I got trained for only 3 days. The guy just assumes you can figure everything out telling you once and when you have a question he gets real rude. Would not recommend paint department. No wonder why the need to fill a while shift and cant.New buildingBad hours, cutthroat"

Laborer (Former Employee) says

"The hiring process was fast and easy. The work would have been good if there was training. The work is dirty and loud. No drug test says who they hire.payeverything else"

HR Manager (Current Employee) says

"Too many managers, lower level employees not paid enough and not enough promotion within. They keep making new positions for managers and overpaying them and not paying the vast majority of employees their fair worth. Too much politics going on with the company. Used to be a great company to work for now all of the management and some of the old management have just gotten way too greedy ."

Laborer (Former Employee) says

"the company went out of business, I was basically the handyman/ laborer"

Assembler (Former Employee) says

"Many of the people where down trodden due to the high turn over rate. Most people dreaded going in to work due to poor management. No value in its employees."

Production Worker (Former Employee) says

"Working 40-50 hour work weeks, with 10-12 hour days Riddell is a fast pace working environment that has one thing one their mind and that is whatever benefits them as a company. Riddell has very little advancement opportunity within the company no matter how long you've been employeed by them."

Road delivery driver (Current Employee) says

"Aside from some of the staff that work there, the management let's all the staff work autonomously as long as the projects get completed. The freedom of driving is great and the customers are all friendly"

Computerized Sport Helmet tester (Current Employee) says

"Started out as a good job, but during football season we work 12 to 14 hr days and wash, dry, sew football uniforms. They only make certain people do the dirty uniforms that Smell quite foulhave to pay own health, dental thru company, somewhat cheaper than on own"

The issue was as a youth sales rep, all the money my clients were using were state funds (YMCA's, Youth leagues, Rec Depts, etc) and they were not allowed to spend new fiscal year money until Aud 1st. If given literally 1 more second I had more than $200,000 worth of sales lined up to be purchased."
